Police in Philadelphia are searching for a towing business owner who is accused of killing two of his competitors in separate shootings. The suspect, 27-year-old Najee Williams, is believed to be behind the murders of two other local tow truck drivers—and may be connected to even more violence.
Towing Business Rivalry Turns Deadly
According to the Philadelphia Police Department, Najee Williams, owner of N.K.W Towing & Recovery LLC, is wanted for the murders of 20-year-old David Garcia Morales and 25-year-old Aaron Whitfield. Police believe the attacks were part of an ongoing conflict within the local towing industry.
Officials have also charged Williams with:
- Violating the Uniform Firearms Act
- Conspiracy
- Possession of instruments of crime
- Reckless endangerment of another person
Authorities say Williams should be considered armed and dangerous. A reward of $20,000 is being offered for information that leads to his arrest and conviction.

Police Link Williams to Both Scenes
Detectives say they have evidence placing Najee Williams at both crime scenes. Ernest Ransom, who leads the Philadelphia Police Homicide Unit, said investigators are looking into whether these killings are part of a broader conflict over towing territory in the city.
They are also reviewing another November 2025 homicide, which may be linked to the same ongoing dispute.
Loved Ones Remember the Victims
Both Morales and Whitfield were remembered by their families as kind-hearted, hardworking young men who were just trying to earn a living.
Aaron Whitfield’s mother, Kimberly Randleman, expressed her grief in an emotional interview:
“For Aaron to be murdered on the streets of Philadelphia while he was working, it’s unbelievable. It’s not fair.”
A GoFundMe page described Whitfield as a playful and dedicated individual who was loved by many.
David Garcia Morales, according to his obituary, was a warm and caring person who always made people smile.
“David cared deeply about everyone and had a genuine heart that touched all who knew him,” the tribute read.
Police Ask for Help from the Public
Philadelphia police are urging the public not to approach Najee Williams if they see him. He is considered dangerous, and officers are working urgently to locate him. The department is offering a $20,000 reward for any tips that lead to his arrest and conviction.
Anyone with information should contact the authorities immediately.
