Utah Father Raises Safety Concerns After Children’s Mother Flees to Europe

WEST JORDAN, UtahWest Jordan Police have launched an urgent international search for four young children who authorities believe were taken out of the country by their biological mother, allegedly violating an existing joint custody agreement.

Mother Faces Felony Charges and Arrest Warrant

Investigators say a temporary emergency protective order and a no-bail arrest warrant have been issued for 35-year-old Elleshia Anne Seymour. She is facing four counts of custodial interference, each classified as a third-degree felony under Utah law.

Law enforcement officials believe the mother deliberately planned the move and left the United States with the children without legal permission.

Names and Ages of the Missing Children

Police have identified the missing children as:

  • Landon Hal Seymour, age 10
  • Levi Parker Seymour, age 8
  • Hazel Rae Seymour, age 7
  • Jacob Kurt Brady, age 3

The three oldest children share the same father, Kendall Seymour, who says he last saw them between November 24 and 25, when he dropped them at school at the start of their mother’s scheduled custody period.

Father Realized Something Was Wrong Days Later

Kendall Seymour explained that the situation became alarming when a babysitter contacted him on December 2, asking why the children had not arrived at daycare.

“It has been three weeks now,” he said, describing the shock and confusion he experienced. According to Kendall, his ex-wife had no known family or contacts in Europe, making the situation even more concerning.

He also believes the trip was premeditated, stating that she left on November 30, during his extended Thanksgiving custody break.

Disturbing Details Found in Charging Documents

According to court records, Elleshia Seymour had recently discussed getting passports and leaving the country, citing fears related to biblical events and the “end of times.” These conversations reportedly took place with an ex-boyfriend.

Detectives searching her West Jordan apartment discovered a notebook outlining plans to shred documents, discard mobile phones, and travel with passports, further supporting concerns that the departure was intentional.

Airport Footage Shows International Travel

Surveillance video from Salt Lake City International Airport reportedly shows Elleshia Seymour and the children entering the terminal and boarding a one-way flight. Investigators believe the flight route went from Amsterdam and ended in Croatia.

In a voicemail left on December 2 for another ex-husband, Seymour allegedly claimed she was in France with the children, saying she was searching for a permanent home and felt compelled to leave because the “end times” were approaching.

Mental Health Concerns Raise Alarm

Kendall Seymour says he had no prior knowledge of these beliefs and fears his former spouse may not be mentally stable.

He explained that only weeks ago did someone discover her TikTok account, where she reportedly expressed fears that Salt Lake City would be destroyed, claiming she was trying to move the children to safety.

Authorities echoed these concerns in court filings, noting that a no-bail warrant was requested because multiple witnesses reported that Seymour had previously experienced emotional breakdowns and hallucinations.

Father’s Plea: Bring the Children Home

For Kendall Seymour, the focus remains on safely locating his children.

“I just want the kids to be found,” he said. “I would tell them I love them and I want to see them for Christmas.”

Police Ask Public for Immediate Help

West Jordan Police urge anyone who may have information about the children’s location or the mother’s whereabouts to contact authorities immediately. Investigators stress that time is critical in cases involving international child custody violations.
