'She was aware' Teen who kicked pregnant woman in her stomach 'did not care' the victim was carrying a child, according to police

An 18-year-old woman from Boynton Beach, Florida, is facing serious criminal charges after allegedly kicking a pregnant woman in the stomach and physically assaulting a young child during a heated altercation at a home in the city’s Southwest Fourth Avenue neighborhood.

Victoria Webb, the teen accused in the case, has been charged with:

  • Aggravated battery on a pregnant victim (a felony)
  • Cruelty toward a child with aggravated child abuse

Both charges are serious and could lead to significant prison time if she’s convicted.

Violent Altercation Caught Police Attention on Jan. 19

The incident took place on the afternoon of January 19, according to a probable cause affidavit from the Boynton Beach Police Department. Police were called to the residence after reports of a domestic disturbance involving Webb, a young boy, and a pregnant woman.

When officers arrived, they found the pregnant victim visibly upset and crying. According to the police report, the woman had tried to break up a fight between Webb and a young boy, who Webb had reportedly been hitting.

While trying to separate them, the victim was allegedly punched in the face and kicked in the stomach by Webb. Police noted that the woman was six months pregnant at the time.

Young Child Says He Struggled to Breathe

The boy involved in the altercation was also interviewed by officers. He said that Webb became angry after he and another child were squirting water, leading her to hold his head down, making it hard for him to breathe.

Officers noted a “sizeable age difference” between Webb and the boy, and said the child was also crying and visibly distressed when they spoke with him.

Teen Admitted to Attack, Dismissed Pregnancy Concerns

Webb was found walking away from the home while talking on the phone, allegedly saying, “I’m on that”, a phrase she later explained to officers as meaning she “doesn’t care and will hit back” if she feels threatened.

After being given her Miranda rights, Webb admitted to hitting the pregnant woman but claimed she had been struck first. Police, however, found her story inconsistent and doubted her claim that she had been attacked with a blow dryer, especially since there were no visible injuries to back it up—only a small scratch on her face.

Victim’s Husband Supports Her Account

The pregnant woman’s husband also gave a statement that matched his wife’s account of what happened, further supporting the victim’s version of events.

Webb was arrested and taken to Palm Beach County Jail, where she later posted bond. Her next court appearance is scheduled for February 18, with an initial hearing set for March 12.
