Travelers passing through Salt Lake City International Airport now have even more to look forward to. The airport has unveiled two new premium lounges, ten additional gates, and six new concession areas as part of the ongoing redevelopment of Concourse B—marking another major milestone in its multi-phase expansion.
The new Delta Sky Club opened Monday, becoming the airline’s second-largest lounge in the country at roughly 34,000 square feet. The space features a wraparound bar, private soundproof booths for business travelers, and a signature “dirty soda” bar available only at the Salt Lake City location. This latest addition joins Delta’s first Sky Club in Concourse A, giving frequent flyers more room to relax before their flights.
Just a day later, the highly anticipated American Express Centurion Lounge opened its doors to eligible cardmembers. Spanning 18,000 square feet, the lounge includes a year-round outdoor terrace, a specialty coffee bar, and a “rejuvenation room” equipped with leg compression massagers for weary travelers. The design and amenities reflect the brand’s focus on comfort and exclusivity.
Airport Executive Director Bill Wyatt said the additions reflect how modern airports are redefining travel. “I’ve been in this business for 25 years, and this is not what airports used to do,” Wyatt said. “Travel can be stressful, and having a space like this available really means everything to us, because we’re all about the passenger experience.”
Travelers can also explore a lineup of new Utah-based and national concessions in the same concourse, including:
• Art of Aesthetics, offering skincare products and non-invasive treatments.
• Aubergine Kitchen, a locally owned restaurant known for healthy, minimally processed meals.
• Good Earth Markets, focusing on natural and wellness products.
• Hudson, the travel convenience store staple.
• Moab Brewery, featuring family-friendly dining.
• Utah National Parks Store, created with the National Parks Foundation, offering souvenirs inspired by the state’s natural landmarks.
Airport officials confirmed that even more restaurants and shops—including Swig, Moochie’s, and Einstein Bros. Bagels—will open next fall alongside the final 11 gates in Concourse B.
The expansion marks another step toward transforming Salt Lake City International Airport into a full-service hub designed for convenience, local flavor, and elevated passenger experiences.
