SALT LAKE CITY — The cast of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City took luxury to new heights this week, boarding a 197-foot superyacht in the Caribbean for a Bravo crossover episode with Below Deck Down Under. Between private flights, plush cabins, and designer drama, fans got a taste of what it really costs to live like a Housewife — and it’s no small tab.

The episode, which aired Tuesday, featured Heather Gay, Angie Katsanevas, Britani Bateman, and the rest of the cast sailing around Canouan Island in the Grenadines aboard the Katina, a floating palace complete with a sauna, whiskey lounge, and full-service crew.

So what would it cost to recreate the Housewives’ high-seas escape? Here’s the breakdown.

Chartering the Katina: $245,000 to $315,000 per week

According to YachtCharterFleet.com, renting the Katina for one week runs between $245,000 and $315,000, depending on the season and route.

Built to host up to 12 guests in six suites, the yacht boasts lavish amenities — including an onboard elevator, gym, massage room, and party decks.

Onboard chef Ben Robinson, known from the Below Deck franchise, served gourmet meals as Captain Jason Chambers and his crew tended to the Housewives’ every need. Angie warned Chambers ahead of time that her crew “would be a handful,” to which Robinson quipped, “I hope that’s reflected in the tip. Otherwise, I’m stealing their jewelry.”

Getting There: Around $3,000 per traveler (one way)

A tropical charter doesn’t include the flight to paradise.

Getting from Salt Lake City to Canouan requires multiple legs:

  • Salt Lake City to Bridgetown, Barbados: roughly $1,000 or more per person.
  • Private charter from Barbados to Canouan: approximately $1,949 for a six-seat plane, plus taxes.

That puts the one-way journey close to $3,000 per person, before luggage and customs.

Cast member Bronwyn Newport arrived separately, explaining that travel delays — and old personal baggage — nearly kept her from joining. She later opened up about being evicted from an apartment in 2005 after leaving BYU and addressed rumors tied to a past California case, clarifying she was never charged.

Talking Unicorn Plush: $19.98

One of the trip’s lighter moments came when Britani Bateman revealed her travel companion — a plush talking unicorn that plays a recording of her boyfriend Jared Osmond’s voice saying, “You are loved.”

Britani joked she brought the toy while taking a “30-day break” from Jared. Her castmates, less sentimental, predicted the unicorn would “end up overboard.”

The toy — the Large Talk Back Mimicking Unicorn from Hammacher Schlemmer — retails online for $19.98, marked down from $49.95.

Dramamine: $5.49

Not everyone had smooth sailing. Angie Katsanevas was sidelined with severe seasickness and spent part of the trip below deck while Mary Cosby kept her company — missing the fireworks of the cast’s dinner feud.

A 12-tablet vial of Dramamine, listed for $5.49 on Smith’s Food and Drug’s website, might have saved her night.

Dinner Drama: Priceless (and Predictable)

No Housewives episode is complete without emotional turbulence. During dinner, Heather Gay and Whitney Rose accused Lisa Barlow of digging up dirt on her castmates, including Bronwyn, Angie, and Meredith Marks.

Lisa denied the claim, breaking down in tears and calling her husband John Barlow, vowing to leave the yacht.
