ARVADA, Colo., Oct. 27, 2025 — The season of generosity officially begins this week with the launch of Colorado Gives Day 2025, the state’s largest and most impactful charity event.

Starting Saturday, November 1, Coloradans can donate to thousands of verified nonprofits across the state, supporting causes that matter most to them. The statewide initiative, which has already raised over $524.6 million since inception, will reach its peak on Tuesday, December 9.

What Is Colorado Gives Day?

Created by the Colorado Gives Foundation, this annual event inspires residents to give back through a secure and transparent platform — ColoradoGivesDay.org.

Every participating nonprofit is thoroughly vetted and registered with the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office, ensuring donors’ contributions go to legitimate organizations.

Between November 1 and December 9, donations qualify for special matching incentives and prizes, maximizing the impact of every dollar contributed.

A Strong Call to Support Local Causes

According to Kelly Dunkin, President and CEO of Colorado Gives Foundation, “Our nonprofits need support now more than ever. With Colorado Gives Day, helping others has never been easier. Every donation becomes part of a statewide movement to create positive change in our communities.”

FirstBank: 16 Years of Partnership

FirstBank, the event’s presenting sponsor since its inception 16 years ago, continues to play a major role in promoting the campaign’s success.
“Each donation helps nonprofits advance their missions and transform lives,” said Kelly Kaminskas, FirstBank’s Chief Operating Officer and Foundation board member.

The bank contributes to a $1 million+ incentive fund, donates $100,000 in nonprofit prizes, and helps spread the word about the event across Colorado.
