SALT LAKE CITY — Reality TV fans are buzzing as “The Bachelorette” has officially unveiled a first look at the contestants for Taylor Frankie Paul’s upcoming season — and four of the men vying for her heart are from Utah.

Taylor Frankie Paul, known for her role in “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” made headlines in September when ABC announced her as the next Bachelorette. The 31-year-old social media star, single mom of three, and Utah native will make franchise history as the first-ever lead from outside the “Bachelor” universe. With more than 5.5 million TikTok followers, Paul’s transition from influencer to reality TV star has captured national attention.

Fans got their first glimpse of the potential suitors when “The Bachelorette” posted photos of 26 contestants on social media. While ABC hasn’t revealed bios or backstories yet, fans now know their names, ages, and hometowns — and Utah is well represented among them.

The Four Utah Contestants

  • Aaron, 32, from Vineyard, Utah
  • Josh, 28, from Provo, Utah
  • Lew, 32, from Salt Lake City, Utah
  • Spencer, 35, from Vineyard, Utah

These four locals could have an early edge in winning over Taylor, who previously said she was looking for a “hardworking man in his 30s or early 40s who’s open to moving to Utah.” If she chooses one of her Utah suitors, relocation may not be a problem.

The rest of the potential contestants hail from all over the country — with several from California, Tennessee, and New York, including men from Los Angeles, San Diego, Nashville, and Brooklyn.

Some of the other contestants revealed include Brad (28, Newport Beach, CA/Nashville, TN), Chris (34, Venice, CA), Malik (30, Brooklyn, NY), Michael (36, San Diego, CA), and Matt (43, Carmel, IN), among others.

Filming for “The Bachelorette” is set to begin this fall, and the production recently received approval for a Utah Motion Picture Incentive, confirming that at least part of the season will be shot in Utah.

Taylor Frankie Paul’s rise to fame began with her candid and often controversial TikTok videos that documented her life as a single mom and former member of Utah’s Mormon community. Her authenticity and local roots have made her one of Utah’s most recognizable social media personalities — and now, one of reality TV’s most talked-about new stars.

As fans speculate about who will get the coveted first impression rose, one thing is clear: this season of “The Bachelorette” will have plenty of Utah flavor — and likely, plenty of drama.
