The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) has arrested three individuals suspected of stealing gaming controllers from a GameStop store in Spanaway on Saturday. The theft, which occurred in the afternoon, led to a collaborative effort by local law enforcement to quickly apprehend the suspects.

The Theft

Around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, the three suspects entered the GameStop store and stole an estimated $1,000 worth of gaming controllers. After the theft, the suspects fled the scene, but not before a GameStop employee was able to provide a detailed description of the individuals involved.

Suspects Found at Gas Station

Using the provided descriptions, law enforcement quickly located the suspects at a gas station in Yelm. Officers from Yelm Police, deputies with the Thurston County Sheriff, and PCSO deputies worked together to track down the individuals.

Arrests and Recovery

The three suspects were arrested without further incident, and the stolen controllers were recovered and returned to GameStop.

The quick response by local law enforcement ensured that the stolen items were returned to the store and the suspects were taken into custody for their involvement in the theft.
