Wyoming has officially become the newest gaming jurisdiction to participate in the National Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program (NVSEP) operated by idPair. Beginning Monday, residents can enroll through the Wyoming Gaming Commission or directly via the program’s national website.
The new step allows Wyoming players to voluntarily block themselves from sports betting, horse racing wagers, and skill-based amusement gaming, offering a broader safety net for individuals seeking help in managing gambling behaviors.

Nick Larramendy, Executive Director of the Wyoming Gaming Commission, emphasized the agency’s focus on ensuring a secure and responsible gaming environment. He explained that joining NVSEP enhances their ongoing commitment to integrity, fairness, and strong player protection standards.
According to Larramendy, the national program creates a unified and more accessible system for individuals who feel self-exclusion is the appropriate choice. It also expands coverage, giving players protection that applies across multiple jurisdictions rather than just within state borders.
With this move, Wyoming becomes the 21st U.S. gaming jurisdiction to participate in idPair’s nationwide self-exclusion system. Massachusetts is expected to adopt the program soon.
