Communities that Care

We would like to welcome and introduce Jennifer Tovar. Jennifer was born and raised in Alberta, Canada, and moved to Roy in 2019 with her husband and two kids, which was where she was first introduced to Communities That Care.

Jennifer joined Roy Communities That Care in 2022, lending her strengths as a graphic designer and has recently taken on the role of Community Board Chair. “I’m really excited for this opportunity to serve the Roy community and make it a better place for all of us to live, work, and play,” she says of working with the coalition. “I really believe in what we do as a coalition, and I believe that we can create community level change that benefits us all.”

Jennifer enjoys taking care of and spending time with her family, and in her free time, she likes to expand her creative pursuits.
