Staff Sergeant Brett Grodi from the Ogden Army Recruiting Station has dedicated his personal time away from his daily duties as a recruiter for the United States Army to become an assistant baseball coach in strength and conditioning for Roy High School Baseball. He has been extremely dedicated and motivated to assist the team in becoming the best baseball players, athletes, and students they can be. The dedication to the Roy High School athletics department and community should not go unnoticed. Staff Sergeant Grodi is a licensed practicing nurse in the United States Army and has brought a collegiate-level baseball and holistic health point of view to the team. We are extremely lucky to have such a motivated and dedicated former collegiate-level athlete on this staff. Coach Vorwaller is instilling a service-before-self mentality into his players, and that is definitely the type of person you are getting with Staff Sergeant Grodi on the coaching staff.
