Choral Edition

Roy City, Roy City Art’s Council, and the Southwest Library are teaming up to make your summer more delightful! We are going to have “Concerts in the Park,” starting in June and held at the Amphitheater at the Southwest Library located at 2039 W. 4000 S. We also acknowledge the help of the RAMP tax from Weber County to bring this to fruition.

Our first performing group will be Kids are Music. Established in Ogden, Utah in 1981, the “KIDS are MUSIC” choirs, founded and directed by Mark and Janette Bischoff, have performed all over the United States, Europe, and China. They have six performing groups, and have performed for dignitaries, national conventions and conferences, special events, seminars, and festivals. “KIDS are MUSIC” has been providing musical experiences for thousands of students for over 40 years. With the goal of “Music for Life,” they provide the opportunity for young people to appreciate music, love music, participate in music, and have wonderful experiences as they develop their musicianship and singing skills. Audiences enjoy their musical excellence and enthusiasm as they perform all genres of music.

Dream Team

Choral Edition is an auditioned community group of teenage students from Ogden, Utah. They are full of energy and have a love for music they just can’t help sharing! These students perform all genres of music, from sacred and classical to Broadway and pop. Audiences enjoy their musical excellence and enthusiasm. Choral Edition has many performances to their credit, including performing with the Utah Symphony, Weber State University’s Gospelfest, and Salt Lake City Temple Square. They have performed in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the British Isles, China, Italy, Prague, and Czech Republic. They are under the direction of Mark and Janette Bischoff.

We are looking forward to having you join us this summer as we kick of “Concerts in the Park”. Bring your chairs or blankets to sit on the grass and enjoy a wonderful night with Kids Are Music!

Mark your calendars for Kids are Music!
