We are so excited to get back to our traditions by bringing back our annual Roy Days celebration for you! This year’s theme is “We R Stronger Together.” If the past year has taught us anything, it is that community and being together is something we should treasure and appreciate after going a year without it. We have missed you!
The Roy Days Committee and Roy City Staff have worked hard to provide great activities for the whole family. For more information, visit www.roydays.info or call us at 801-774-1048. Events will kick off on July 23rd, with an Art show viewing and will end August 6th and 7th at Roy West Park, with booths, entertainment, and activities.
A particular event we are excited to bring back is our Salmon Bake. If you have attended in the past, you know why we are excited to bring it back! If you haven’t been before, trust us, you won’t be disappointed! Roy City partners with Kent’s Market to offer the BEST fire grilled salmon around! We have made some changes to the event to better serve the community. The event will be held on Thursday, August 5th, at Emma Russell Park from 4:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. There will be live music and plenty of seating available. Following the salmon bake, we will have our outdoor Movie in the Park. The following food trucks will be at Movie Night: Pizza Cone Zone, Family Freeze Dry and Twisted Sugar! We will be showing the movie, “We are Marshall.” We have limited tickets available for the Salmon Bake, so make sure to get your tickets today at www.roydays.info by calling 801-774-1048 or in person at Roy City Parks and Recreation at 1950 W. 4800 S.
We have partnered with a local company, Bingham Bouncer, to provide activities, including an exciting Kids Fun Zone, with bounce house, rock wall, midway carnival games, laser tag, and much more. We believe you will find this accommodating to all ages at a very reasonable price. Be sure to take advantage of the pre-sale ticket deals! Visit www.roydays.info for more information.
Don’t miss out on all the fun! There is plenty of free parking at Roy West Park, and Hooper Water property, located at 2449 W. 4000 S. There will be access to the Hooper Water property from 4000 S.
Roy Days would not be the success it is without the citizens of Roy, Roy High School, and our great sponsors. So, on behalf of the Roy Days Committee, we want to say: “Thank you.” We look forward to coming together as a community again. We invite you all to come out and celebrate the great city of Roy, because we truly believe that “WE R STRONGER TOGETHER.”
