The Roy City Council has approved the following bi-monthly rate increases effective January 1, 2019. The rate increase for recycle is ONLY for residents who currently have recycling and is a result of an increase from the service provider due to the effects of China’s “National Sword”. If you wish to opt out of the recycle program, please call or come into the Roy City Utility office during the month of JUNE.

• Water Base Rate                                              $14.77 to $16.77
• Water Usage

First 18,000 gallons (per 1,000 gallons)     $   .82  to $   .84

Next 12,000 gallons (per 1,000 gallons)    $ 1.46  to $ 1.50

Next 10,000 gallons (per 1,000 gallons)    $ 1.63  to $ 1.69

Gallons over 40,000 (per 1,000 gallons)    $ 1.84  to $ 1.92
