There are many great and exciting things happening at Roy Junior High with the start of a new school year. Football and softball seasons are underway with games starting this week. Softball games started on 9/6/18 and are on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Come and support the Razorbacks! Football games started on 9/7/18 and are on Fridays. All games start at 3:00. For your information, Math Tutoring will be provided for any Roy Junior High Student. It will be every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 7:00-7:40 in room #209. We will start the construction of the NEW Roy Junior High in March of 2019. Here is a picture of the proposed school. This summer Tena Pate, one of our many great teachers, was selected to attend a conference in Washington, DC. Here is the press release: WASHINGTON, DC. August, 2018 – Tena Pate, a teacher at Roy Junior High School in Roy, UT, was one of 32 teachers nationwide chosen to complete a food science training program developed and implemented in a partnership between the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA), and Graduate School USA. The one-week program for middle and high school science teachers, as well as family and consumer science and health education teachers, took place in Washington this summer. Go Razorbacks!
